This project uses “Taiwan International Poster Design Award 2007” competitions endorsed by ICOGRADA and supported by JAGDA to enlarge Taiwan’s design perspectives and internationalize
▓Eligibility:
The competition is open to designers from all regions and countries.
▓Design categories
1. Special theme: "Humanitarian Concern"(Type A), entered works no created date restriction
2. Open category :Commercial (Type B)or Promotional(Type C), entered works must have been created after Jan. 1, 2005.
▓Awards:
A. Grand Prize(1 person): US$10,000
B. Icograda Excellence Award(1 person): US$5,000
C. Jagda Excellence Award(1 person): US$5,000
D. Special topic and open category(Two categories with three types):
Gold medal(1 person each): US$3,000
Silver medal(1 person each): US$2,000
Bronze medal(1 person each): US$1,000
(Awards are granted in accordance with the regulations of the host country; taxes shall be withheld in accordance with ROC tax law 20 % for foreigner, 15% for ROC local people )
E. Judges' special award(each judge may select one person): medal or certificate.
▓ Prize-winning works:
1. The implementing unit will hold a solo design exhibition in Taiwan for the winner of the Grand Prize during the following year.
2. Prize-winning works will be included in the special publication "Taiwan International Poster Design Award 2007."
3. Prize-winning works will be displayed on the "Commercial Design Improvement Project" website and in publicity materials.
4. Prize-winning works may be displayed at exhibitions held under the project.
▓ Submission deadline:
Entered works accepted immediately until Aug. 31, 2007.
(Participants are reminded that the cut-off date is based on the date and time in Taiwan; works received after the cut-off date will not be accepted. Please take international time differences into consideration when mailing works.)
