Eligibility

The EuroCv Web Design Contest 2008 is open to all artists and designers across the globe. Whoever wants to take part at this contest has to register the CV/Resume in EuroCv.eu.

All work must have been produced, or published between July 5, 2007 and December 30, 2007.

Submission of entries acknowledges the right of EuroCv to showcase the submitted artwork on its Web site. We will not sell your designs beyond this purpose.

Designs that contain illicit material or propagate hate messages will not be considered.

Judging Criteria

The judges will evaluate each entry based on the following criteria: originality; creativity; flair; communication; presentation; and effectiveness.

Rules

1. EuroCv is keeping a contest to renew its graphic style and make more clear and more institutional the service.
2. The works must be sent to staff@eurocv.eu , by e-mail, before 11:59pm on December 30st of 2007.
3. The graphic must mandatorily be sent in the original file format like Photoshop (*.psd) format (high resolution) for the Logo, Web Template, Icons. The Work must be sent in Flash format (*.fla).
4. Every participant can send more than one work, but each e-mailing must contain only one graphic style fileset.
5. Allow the free and exclusive usage of the work in case you are the winner;
6. Allow the publication of the work inside the contest page without time limits (you can ask anyway to remove your work if you are not the winner);
7. Renounce copyright, except from the authorship;
8. Declare that you do not have copied or used, in no way, images with copyright, except the copyright is yours.

Here below you will find the specifications you must enclose in your e-mail.
You have only to copy the following text and insert your name and last name:

The undersigned: [NAME], [LAST NAME], registered with this P.A.C.: [PAC], in case the work here enclosed will be chosen as representative of the Group EuroCv.it/EuroCv.eu, states here below:

- I grant the exclusive and free usage of the work by the EuroCv Group,
- I give the copyright up, made exception for my authorship in favour of the EuroCv Group,
- I have not used or copied, in no way, material covered by copyright not of own property.

I declare moreover:
- I allow the publication of the work on the appropriate page of the contest without time limits (remaining the possibility to ask for the removal, as stated above in the regulation).

Attention: all the material sent without the specifications will not be able to participate to the contest.

Winners

The contest winner, apart from the honour of having created the best graphic, will find his/her name on the page of the collaborators of EuroCv as Official Graphic Author and will be sent the original EuroCv T-shirt, in gift and an iPod Shuffle.

All winners and honorees will be highlighted on EuroCv's Web site.
